1. Promoter
The promoter is The Bark Bus Midlands Ltd, trading as The Bark Bus (the “Promoter”). Questions about the giveaway can be sent to enquiries@barkbus.co.uk.
2. Promotional period
The giveaway opens when the relevant giveaway posts are first published. Entries close at 11:59pm UK time on 29 November 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted. The draw will take place on 30 November 2026.
3. Eligibility
- The giveaway is open to UK residents who meet these terms.
- Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must accept and manage the prize on their behalf.
- Existing Bark Bus customers and new customers may enter.
- The dog must normally live in, or be available for collection within, an approved Bark Bus service postcode.
- Employees, directors and immediate family members of the Promoter may not enter.
- No purchase is necessary.
4. How to enter
You may enter on any or all of the following platforms:
- Instagram: follow @thebarkbusuk, like the giveaway post and comment on it, tagging two genuine accounts.
- Facebook: follow or like The Bark Bus UK, like the giveaway post and comment on it, tagging two genuine accounts.
- TikTok: follow @the.bark.bus.uk, like the giveaway post and comment on it, tagging two genuine accounts.
An Instagram Story share can earn one additional entry where it can be independently verified. Tag @thebarkbusuk in the Story, or send the Promoter a screenshot before the giveaway closes if your account is private.
5. Multiple entries
Each valid comment may count as a separate entry, provided it tags two genuine accounts that the entrant has not used in an earlier entry on that platform. Entrants may enter separately on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Repeated tags, duplicate comments, inactive accounts, spam accounts and automated entries will not count. Only one verified Instagram Story bonus entry is available per entrant.
6. Prizes
- First prize: 12 standard Bark Bus dog-adventure sessions, used as one session per week for 12 weeks.
- Second prize: 4 standard Bark Bus dog-adventure sessions, used as one session per week for 4 weeks.
- Third prize: 1 standard Bark Bus dog-adventure session and a dog hamper selected by The Bark Bus.
Hamper contents may vary. Where the winner tells us about a known allergy or dietary requirement, we will make reasonable substitutions. Each prize is for one named dog, subject to section 8. Prizes have no cash alternative, cannot be resold and are not transferable to another person.
7. Activating a prize
A winner must accept the prize within the response period in section 12 and contact The Bark Bus to begin enrolment for the named dog within 30 days of accepting it. The prize period will start on a date agreed with The Bark Bus, taking account of assessment, launch timing, route availability and the dog’s suitability. A winner will not lose a session solely because The Bark Bus has no eligible session available.
8. Dog eligibility and trial assessment
Every prize is subject to full Bark Bus enrolment and a successful free trial assessment. The dog must meet our current safety and eligibility requirements, including being microchipped, fully vaccinated, up to date with flea and worming treatment, neutered if aged 12 months or over, and suitable for safe, happy group travel and social adventures.
If the named dog does not pass the assessment, the winner may nominate one alternative eligible dog. The alternative dog must complete enrolment and pass its own assessment. If neither dog meets the requirements, the prize may be withdrawn and no cash alternative will be provided. The Bark Bus’s safety decision is final.
9. Winners under 18
If a winner is under 18, their parent or legal guardian must respond to the Promoter, accept the prize, complete the required forms and act as the Bark Bus customer-account holder. The guardian must also attend or arrange any trial or handover where requested.
10. Using prize sessions
- Sessions must be booked through The Bark Bus and remain subject to route, postcode, capacity, availability and dog-suitability requirements.
- First- and second-prize sessions are limited to one prize session per week and cannot be combined into fewer weeks.
- The winner must follow the booking and cancellation rules supplied when the prize is activated.
- A session cancelled late or missed by the winner may be lost, subject to those cancellation rules.
- If The Bark Bus cancels, or has no eligible session available for the dog during a prize week, the unused session will carry forward.
- Sessions cannot be transferred between dogs except for the one alternative dog allowed under section 8.
11. Winner selection
Three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the giveaway closes. Each entrant may win no more than one prize. A Story bonus will be included only where it has been verified. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into about the draw result, except with the selected winners.
12. Winner notification
Winners will be contacted through the social-media account used for their winning entry. A winner must reply within 48 hours and provide the information reasonably needed to verify eligibility. If they do not respond in time, are ineligible or cannot be verified, the Promoter may withdraw the prize and draw another winner. The Bark Bus will never ask a winner to pay a fee or provide card or online-banking details to claim a prize.
13. Approved service area
Prize sessions are available only for dogs in postcodes confirmed by The Bark Bus as approved service postcodes for a suitable route. Our general coverage includes Coventry, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and selected surrounding areas, but appearing within a named area does not automatically guarantee collection. Eligibility and collection arrangements will be confirmed before the prize is activated.
14. Winner information
The Promoter may publish a winner’s name or social-media handle and the prize won. A winner may ask us to reduce the amount of information published, but we may still provide details to the Advertising Standards Authority or another regulator where required. Photos, videos or testimonials featuring a winner or their dog will be used only with separate permission and are not a condition of receiving the prize.
15. Personal information
Personal information will be used to administer the giveaway, verify entries, contact winners, complete enrolment and provide the prizes. It will be handled in line with our Privacy Notice. Entering the giveaway does not automatically subscribe an entrant to marketing. The social-media platforms also process information under their own privacy policies.
16. Invalid entries
The Promoter may reject entries that are incomplete, automated, generated in bulk, fraudulent, made through fake or duplicate accounts, use misleading information, tag accounts that are not genuine, or otherwise breach these terms or the relevant platform’s rules. The Promoter may request reasonable evidence to verify an entry or entrant.
17. Changes and availability
If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control affect the fair or safe operation of the giveaway, the Promoter may suspend, amend or cancel it and, where appropriate, provide a reasonable equivalent prize. Nothing in this section removes the carry-forward protection in section 10 when The Bark Bus has no eligible session available for an awarded prize.
18. Social-media disclaimer
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta or TikTok. By entering, entrants release those platforms from responsibility for the promotion. Questions about the giveaway must be directed to The Bark Bus, not to the platforms.
19. General
By entering, an entrant agrees to these terms. Nothing in them excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
